About The Position

The Lead Teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners and creates an engaging, supportive classroom environment. The role involves developing interactive learning experiences, mentoring fellow teachers, promoting preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth, and leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is also responsible for knowing and following licensing guidelines and company standards, and for building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center's requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow teachers.
