Lead Teacher Toddler-PK
About The Position
The Lead Teacher develops and implements daily, curriculum-driven lesson plans in a nurturing and engaging environment for toddlers through preschool/prekindergarten children. The role involves adapting learning experiences to each child’s needs and fostering positive relationships with children and families. The Goddard School of Georgetown (Williams Drive) describes itself as a COGNIA-accredited school with 4 TRS stars and emphasizes a supportive environment, teacher development, and early childhood education excellence. Teachers may receive support in obtaining a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience in a licensed childcare center.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must meet State of Texas and National hiring standards.
- Employment is contingent upon cleared DFPS, DPS, and FBI background checks.
Nice To Haves
- Education-related degree (Bachelor’s or Associate’s) or CDA is preferred.
