About The Position

Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring a full-time Lead Teacher to work with twos and toddlers at its Holly Springs location. The role involves delivering a play-based curriculum that introduces children to perspectives and cultures beyond their local community while teaching developmentally appropriate skills and concepts. The teacher builds rapport with families, shares children’s daily milestones through electronic reports, and follows enhanced safety guidelines to maintain a clean and safe classroom. The academy describes an inclusive, team-oriented work environment and offers on-the-job training and career advancement opportunities.

Requirements

At least 18 years of age.
High school diploma or GED.
At least six months of experience working in childcare, daycare, or preschool is preferred.
Must be able to stand six to eight hours daily and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend, and perform similar movements while working with children.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of background checks, pre-hire screenings, and onboarding processes.

Nice To Haves

Early Childhood coursework, a CDA, or a degree.
At least six months of experience working in childcare, daycare, or preschool.
