About The Position

Early Learning Academies is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher for The Village Learning Center in Sicklerville. The role is suited to someone with a passion for providing children with an exceptional early learning experience and for nurturing young minds. Candidates may have prior childcare experience or be new to the industry, but should bring energy, compassion, and a genuine desire to positively impact children’s lives. The position requires at least one qualifying early childhood education credential or education pathway: an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; six ECE credits and nine credits in education, psychology, health care, nursing, or another field related to child growth and development; a CDA; a CCP; or a Group Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals. Applicants must also meet applicable state, federal, and Early Learning Academies requirements.

Requirements

Must currently hold at least one of the following: an associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development; six ECE credits and nine credits in education, psychology, health care, nursing, or a field related to child growth and development; a CDA; a CCP; or a Group Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals.
Must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise stated.
High school diploma or GED required.
Must meet state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
Passion for early learning and nurturing young children; prior childcare experience is not required.
