Lead Teacher - Wee Discover
About The Position
Wee Discover Child Day Care and Enrichment Center, part of Early Learning Academies (ELA), is seeking a qualified Lead Teacher who is passionate about positively impacting young children and providing an exceptional early learning experience. The role involves nurturing young minds in a welcoming, supportive, and collaborative educational community. Candidates may have prior childcare experience or be new to the industry, but must meet the stated education, experience, and training qualifications. The position pays $16.25–$19.50 USD. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends. ELA describes its community as valuing innovation and creativity and is an equal opportunity employer.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have a current CDA, an associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, and experience working in a licensed center.
- Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
