Assistant Teacher - Wee Discover
About The Position
Wee Discover Child Day Care and Enrichment Center, part of Early Learning Academies (ELA), is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help provide children with an exceptional early learning experience. The role is suited to someone with energy, compassion, and a genuine desire to nurture young children. Previous childcare experience is not essential, though center experience, dependability, experience working with young children, and some early childhood education are strongly preferred. The position offers pay of $15–$16 USD. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must meet applicable state, federal, and Early Learning Academies requirements regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training and practices.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
Nice To Haves
- Previous center experience, dependability, and experience working with young children are strongly preferred.
- Some early childhood education is strongly preferred.
