About The Position
Childtime is hiring a Lead PreK/School Age Float Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher develops interactive learning experiences, supports and mentors fellow teachers, and promotes preschool children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. It also involves building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. Candidates must be energetic, dependable, passionate, at least 18 years old, able to meet state education and childcare center requirements, and able to work indoors or outdoors while engaging in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Lead Teacher rate is $17.53–$18.21. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate.
