About The Position

Childtime is hiring a Lead Teacher to create interactive learning experiences, support and mentor fellow Teachers, and promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The Lead Teacher leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• 12 ECE credits or a California-approved CDA.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
