About The Position

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a lead or assistant teacher in a preschool or early childhood education setting.
• Strong knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage children, parents, and team members.
• Ability to create a structured and nurturing classroom environment.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote learning and development.
• Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment where children feel valued and supported.
• Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records and communicating regularly with parents and caregivers.
• Lead and mentor assistant teachers and classroom aides to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Maintain compliance with all state licensing and company policies related to health, safety, and education.
• Collaborate with colleagues and management to plan and participate in school events and professional development.
