About The Position

This is a part-time Lead Teacher position at a child care center on N Thornydale Dr., with a closing shift. The Lead Teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners by creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschoolers’ development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The role includes mentoring fellow Teachers and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
