About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers while promoting the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, ensures knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. Teachers work with children in a safe, nurturing, and engaging early-education environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities
