Lead Teacher
About The Position
As Lead Teacher, you’ll steer the early learning classroom for your assigned age group—making sure kids feel safe, seen, and ready to try (and retry) new things. You’ll bring the designated curriculum to life, keep learning on track with observations and documentation, and make the classroom a welcoming place for every child. Key responsibilities include lesson planning and assessments (Creative Curriculum/Teaching Strategies GOLD), maintaining licensing/safety compliance, clear family communication, accurate records, and partnering with the Club Director to keep quality high.
Requirements
- Strong early childhood classroom leadership and positive guidance
- Ability to create an inclusive, nurturing environment
- Comfort coaching and supporting an Assistant Teacher day to day
- Organized documentation habits and professional communication
