Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience working with children (birth-5Y)
Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
Excellent classroom management skills
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
Knowledge of behavioral health strategies for young children
Experience working collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Ability to Relocate: Itasca, IL 60143: Relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning and development in areas such as literacy education, math, and social-emotional skills
Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment
Provide individualized attention and support to each child
Monitor and assess children's progress and provide regular feedback to parents
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive educational program
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and other necessary documentation
Implement behavior management strategies to ensure a positive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns or questions
