About The Position

Alliance Center for Education is hiring a NC Pre‑K Teacher to support classroom instruction and create a safe, nurturing learning environment for preschool‑age children. We are looking for energetic, compassionate individuals ready to shape young minds and make a lasting impact in early childhood education. Our mission is to teach children and help families grow.

Requirements

NC Pre‑K Lead Teacher credentials (B‑K License or BA/BS in ECE or related field with NC Pre‑K eligibility)
At least 2 years of experience working with preschool‑age children
Experience with TSG and lesson planning
Knowledge of NC Early Learning Standards
Strong communication and computer skills
DCDEE Qualifying Letter (Background Check with Fingerprints)
Official Education Transcript
Current Physical Exam
Current TB Test
Pre-employment drug screening and ongoing random screenings

Responsibilities

Implement NC Pre‑K–approved curriculum with fidelity
Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction for children ages 4–5
Support social‑emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development
Maintain required NC Pre‑K and DCDEE documentation
Collaborate with assistants, specialists, and families
Maintain a safe, engaging, and organized classroom environment
