As a Lead Montessori Teacher, you will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and documenting your student's progress.

Requirements

18 years of age or older is required.
High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
Completed Primary Montessori Training or in the process of achieving your Primary Montessori Training.
A willingness to learn and follow the Montessori philosophy is required.
Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members is required.
The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of experience in a Montessori teaching environment is strongly preferred
Completed the DCF Child Care Training courses is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following the Montessori pedagogy
Plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Assess and document your student's progress
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children's progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
