About The Position

The Lead Recruiter serves as a strategic talent acquisition partner responsible for attracting, assessing, and hiring top talent across a variety of professional, management, and leadership roles. This individual leads complex searches, provides consultative support to hiring leaders, develops innovative sourcing strategies, and ensures a best-in-class candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The Lead Recruiter is recognized as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition and plays a key role in driving hiring outcomes, workforce planning initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous process improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven success recruiting professional, management, and/or leadership-level talent.
  • Strong sourcing and talent identification capabilities.
  • Experience partnering directly with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools.
  • Experience supporting director-level and above hiring.
  • Expertise in workforce planning and talent market analytics.
  • Experience mentoring recruiters or leading recruiting initiatives.
  • Knowledge of AI-enabled recruiting tools and recruitment marketing strategies.
  • Experience within large, complex organizations.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for professional, management, and hard-to-fill positions.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to understand workforce needs, organizational priorities, and talent gaps.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process, providing market intelligence, talent insights, and hiring recommendations.
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives and talent demands.
  • Identify, engage, and attract active and passive talent through multiple sourcing channels.
  • Conduct targeted headhunting and direct sourcing for critical and specialized positions.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Leverage industry research, competitor intelligence, and labor market data to inform recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to evaluate qualifications, skills, leadership capabilities, and cultural alignment.
  • Facilitate interview preparation, candidate calibration, and selection discussions with hiring teams.
  • Ensure a consistent, equitable, and high-quality assessment process.
  • Guide leaders on talent evaluation and hiring decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and business leaders.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline health, market conditions, and recruiting progress.
  • Effectively manage expectations and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
  • Resolve recruiting challenges and drive solutions that balance speed, quality, and business needs.
  • Mentor and coach recruiters and talent acquisition team members.
  • Share recruiting best practices, sourcing techniques, and market insights.
  • Support onboarding and development of new recruiters.
  • Lead or participate in talent acquisition projects, initiatives, and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records within recruiting systems.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Champion exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
