About The Position

Honeywell Aerospace’s Radar Altimeters engineering group is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to support radar altimeter products across commercial and military domains. The group is integrated across the product life cycle, from customer concepts and proposals through development, verification, production, and obsolescence refreshes. On medium and smaller programs, systems engineers may also perform design and development work within their discipline. The Lead Systems Engineer is expected to work independently, learn new areas, guide and oversee other team members, and provide expert recommendations to engineering and business leadership. The role combines system and electrical hardware design responsibilities, including requirements development, architecture, trade studies, design, testing, and production support. Testing may take place on a bench, at off-site facilities, or during flight testing. U.S. and/or international travel may be required, estimated at 10%.
