About The Position
The Lead Surgical Technologist oversees daily surgical tech operations while assisting in procedures. This role supports patient safety, maintains sterile technique, and provides leadership to the surgical team.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
- 3–5 years of experience; leadership experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Leadership experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and assist surgeons during procedures.
- Ensure proper instrument handling, counts, and documentation.
- Lead and mentor surgical technologists; assist with training and staffing.
- Coordinate workflow and ensure equipment and supplies are available.
- Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.
