About The Position

Responsible for workshop daily routine, managing workshop personnel, production, quality, safety, cost and statistics. This role reports to the plant manager and is responsible for daily reporting of workshop indicator operations and management. The Lead Supervisor will arrange internal workshop production according to production orders and implement contingency plans for sudden emergencies. Key duties include supervision and inspection of pre-production preparations, labor discipline, work quality, production safety, and employee compliance with operating instructions. The position is also responsible for workshop production quality and cost control, ensuring workshop indicators meet company requirements. The Lead Supervisor will implement company management rules, brief on production, quality, and labor discipline, and organize analysis and improvement of difficult problems, tracking performance and providing feedback. They will also organize statistical analysis, develop improvement measures, and track performance for indicator abnormalities. Coordination of daily routines, cooperation with the Statistics Section and Department of Finance for inventory and bonus accounting, and auditing the authenticity of production statements and records are also key responsibilities. The role includes the custody of workshop documents, purchase of daily production tooling and tools, and supervision of equipment, tooling, and tool application, maintenance, and custody. Developing and organizing employee training, post training, transfer training, and multi-post development plans, and tracking their results are crucial. Monitoring the implementation of 5s and SECURITY, maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe working environment, and participating in improvement activities to eliminate waste and reduce costs are also part of the role. The Lead Supervisor will monitor environmental factors, risk factors, hazards, and their control methods, be familiar with and supervise workshop material safety data sheets, and conscientiously implement integrated management system related documents. Storing post wastes by categories and performing other assigned duties are also expected. Management reserves the right to assign or re-assign duties and responsibilities at any time.

Requirements

  • Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
  • Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers
  • 1 to 3 years manufacturing experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • The employee is regularly required o stand for long periods
  • Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip)
  • Visual acuity including, but not limited to: NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special and minute accuracy is demanded. FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency in terms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions. DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are. COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors. FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or left while eyes are fixed on a given point.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals

  • Powered Industrial Truck Certification. Propane, Gas, or Stand up if applicable & Forklift Train the Trainer Certified
  • Must complete all training described in the Company’s Training Standard, in the areas of Safety, Output, Quality, Management, Leadership, 5S and Legal

  • Responsible for custody of workshop documents, statements and records
  • Responsible for purchase of workshop daily production tooling and tools
  • Responsible for supervising daily application, maintenance and custody of workshop equipment, tooling and tools
  • Responsible for developing and organizing workshop employee post training and transfer training, and multi-post development plans, and tracking the implementation results
  • Responsible for monitoring the implementation of 5s and SECURITY of workshop posts, maintaining a clean, efficient and safe working environment
  • Participating in various activities to improve and solve problems so as to improve quality, eliminate waste and reduce costs
  • Positively understanding and monitoring all workshop environmental factors, risk factors, hazards and their control methods
