The Morgan Group is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee construction projects.   • BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field or equivalent experience in construction management.
  • Has completed or will complete an OSHA 30HR safety certification.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, review, track, and distribute preconstruction documents including construction plans, CPM schedules, site plans, and layout.
  • Oversee subcontractor pre-install meeting preparation and review submittal/procurement logs.
  • Ensure understanding and adherence to Site Specific Safety Plans and QAQC Plans.
  • Facilitate first work inspections, prepare for interior and exterior box walks, and conduct day-to-day review and verification of installed work.
  • Manage General Condition costs and ensure the scheduled success of the project.
  • Effectively communicate questions and issues using plans, sketches, and photographs, and ensure RFIs are tagged in Procore and field sets.
  • Create a 4-Week look ahead schedule for weekly subcontractor meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, and discuss new plan changes, RFI responses, safety topics, and hot topics.
  • Maintain current and permitted sets of plans in the jobsite office and check plans for productivity hindrances.
  • Conduct daily safety walks, correct issues immediately, and document repeated offenses.
  • Review and finalize Daily Reports in Procore, manage Storm Water reports, and review direct job costs.
  • Create, manage, and update project schedules, including a 4-week look ahead schedule.
  • Create and distribute detailed completion lists and punch lists, and manage their completion.
  • Track and review open items from inspections, work with city inspectors, and verify subcontractor layouts.
  • Follow up on all Third-Party Inspections to ensure deficiencies are cleared.
  • Control labor hours and invoiced expenses, and review draws and invoices for accuracy.
  • Lead and participate in team and project meetings, preparing meeting minutes.
