About The Position
Teachers, are you looking for a summer job? Heartfelt Impressions Learning Center is urgently seeking a seasonal Lead Summer Camp Teacher for our PreK class at our Rochester campus. As the Lead teacher, you will oversee classroom activities and field trips, making summer camp a memorable experience for all who participate.
Requirements
- Child Development Associate certificate, Degree in early childhood education, or other Educational degree
- Willing to complete onboarding training to meet licensing requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years or older
- Valid chauffeur’s license required to drive the bus for field trips
Nice To Haves
- Previous teaching experience or experience as a camp teacher preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensures overall safety of children in assigned age group
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans based on individual student’s needs and interests
- Comply with licensing rules, regulations, and procedures
- Attend company/school meetings
- Ensure the classroom is engaging and developmentally age appropriate
- Ensure cleaning tasks are completed
