About The Position

This role involves assisting in training and evaluating stewards, ensuring the maintenance and proper care of equipment, and maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary work environment. The Lead Steward must adhere to MSDS guidelines for chemical safety, enforce department and property policies, and perform various kitchen duties as assigned by supervisors. The position also requires upholding the company's Mission Statement and values, representing the property positively, and maintaining knowledge of property information. This job description is not exhaustive and duties may change.

  • High energy level.
  • Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with all Hard Rockers and guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in training and evaluating of Stewards.
  • Ensures maintenance and proper care of equipment.
  • Ensures a safe, clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Adheres to the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) to ensure the proper and safe use of chemicals in the workplace.
  • Enforces department and property policies and procedures.
  • Will be asked by supervisors and chef to perform various kitchen duties based on business and operations.
  • Upholds the Mission Statement – We create authentic experiences that rock.
  • Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
  • Lives by the Hard Rock values.
  • Maintains knowledge of property information, including memorabilia.
  • Performs other functions as necessary or as assigned.
