About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician Lead to provide leadership to certified and non-certified technicians in planning, coordination, and prioritization. The role performs all essential functions of a Sterile Processing Technician, provides staff training and education, and carries out special assignments essential to department service delivery.

This is a full-time position working an 8-hour swing shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, for 40 hours per week, with call.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Maintain CRCST or CSPDT certification.
• Two years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• Leadership skills demonstrated to management.
• Ability to create and foster a cooperative teamwork environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to use basic office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to certified and non-certified technicians in planning, coordination, and prioritization.
• Perform all essential functions of a Sterile Processing Technician.
• Provide training and education to staff.
• Carry out special assignments essential to department service delivery.
