About The Position

Under general supervision, this position performs higher level lead worker functions related to sterile processing, processes, and coordination of activities to assist in meeting the demands of the surgery schedule. Ensures the care, sterilization, packaging, and disbursement of hospital equipment and supplies. Cleans, processes, and assembles instrument sets and equipment while maintaining a clean and orderly environment for processing instrumentation.
Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Sterile Processing Certification
• Minimum of one (1) year of sterile processing experience
