About The Position

The Lead Stacker is responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate stacking and handling of products on the production line. This role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to lead and guide other team members.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and lead by example.
  • Ability to take and follow directions.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic understanding of cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Basic understanding of GDP (Good Documentation Practices).
  • Certified and trained in the use of a pallet jack.
  • Certified and trained in the use of a lift trucks.
  • Ability to stand and/or walk for the duration of the assigned shift.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to turn, twist, push, and pull.
  • Ability to use both hands and grasp for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain a high level of energy throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Pass both written and driving tests for forklift trucks.

Responsibilities

  • Check product cartons for correctly printed shipping information.
  • Stack finished products neatly on customer-approved pallets in compliance with quantity requirements.
  • Move finished pallets to the Quality Assurance Inspection Area.
  • Wrap completed pallets with stretch wrap to ensure product stability during shipping.
  • Assist line associates with changeovers.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Assist in clean-up during downtime situations and during end of shift clean up.
  • Perform all duties as requested by the Shift Supervisor/Floor Leader.
  • Operate handheld devices according to Work Instructions (WIs) to perform Work In Progress (WIP) completions and create/print LPNs.
  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of work and report any discrepancies to management as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to coordinate workflow and address any issues.
  • Pass both written and driving tests for forklift trucks.
  • Certify the accuracy of pallet sheets prior to signing off.
  • Lead by example and guide team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
