About The Position

The Stacker is responsible for stacking completed reels according to company specifications and performing a final quality inspection to ensure products meet established standards. This role verifies proper assembly, ensures all required components and features are present, and supports accurate inventory reporting. The Stacker also maintains a clean, organized, and safe work environment while contributing to overall production efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, squat, reach, push, and pull for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to push and pull materials as required
  • Required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn, including but not limited to: Safety glasses (face shield as required), Hearing protection, High-visibility clothing, Gloves (not required during cutting), Safety toe footwear
  • Required to participate in daily stretching exercises as part of the company’s safety and wellness program.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards within assigned work areas
  • Immediately report safety concerns, incidents, or operational issues to the Shift Supervisor
  • Follow all company policies, procedures, and supervisory instructions

Responsibilities

  • Stack reels according to established specifications and production requirements
  • Perform final inspections to ensure reels meet quality standards, including verifying proper assembly and that all screws are secure
  • Ensure reels requiring a punched hole in the tube have been properly completed
  • Use hand tools, including grinders, as needed to trim screws; required to wear a face shield during this task
  • Report completed pallets in the Maestro inventory system and print corresponding labels
  • Apply labels accurately to completed pallets
  • Move pallets within the assigned work area using approved manual handling methods, including pushing or pulling when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure overall area cleanliness and efficiency
  • Support general production flow and assist in additional tasks as assigned by supervision
