The Lead Specialist Examiner will lead ongoing monitoring and examinations to evaluate the effectiveness of credit risk management practices at WFC, including the remediation of identified weaknesses. This role requires assessing and monitoring credit risk holistically across wholesale, retail, and counterparty credit, as well as evaluating increases in risk appetite and portfolio growth. The position holder will act as a subject matter expert in credit risk, identifying material financial risks and assessing inherent risks and associated risk management programs through on-site examinations and continuous monitoring. Collaboration with DST and system colleagues is essential to support GSIB supervisory priorities.
