About The Position

The Business Analytics Lead Specialist will lead the roadmap, requirements, and continuous improvement of our Configure, Price, Quote capabilities within the Quote-to-Order ecosystem. This role will partner with Sales, Revenue Operations, Pricing, Product, Legal, Finance, and IT to ensure our CPQ platform enables a seamless handoff from opportunity to order, leading to seller productivity and revenue gains. This role will ensure process is efficient and aligns with business policies. The ideal candidate has experience with CPQ platforms, eg Salesforce and Zuora, pricing and discounting workflows, product catalog governance, quote approvals, and end-to-end Quote-to-Order processes. They are a strategic operator who is comfortable moving between business process discussions, system design conversations, roadmap prioritization, and stakeholder updates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or related field.
  • 2+ years as a Salesforce CPQ Administrator or similar role.
  • Experience supporting multi-business-unit, multi-region, or complex product environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ and Zuora.
  • Understanding of pricing strategies, discount logic, and product bundling concepts.
  • Familiarity with ERP integrations, product catalog governance, or master data management.
  • Experience with enterprise pricing models, subscription products, bundled offerings and renewals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills to diagnose and resolve application issues, methodical and resourceful, a logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Customer Centricity and ability to focus on the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to continuously re-assess prioritization to align with current business goals.
  • Commitment to learning and up-skilling on new software updates, features, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of capabilities within CPQ applications.
  • Ensure CPQ is running efficiently and configured to support business workflows.
  • Administer and maintain Salesforce CPQ, including product configurations, pricing rules, discounting and approval workflows.
  • Support product launches by setting up SKUs, bundles, and associated pricing in CPQ.
  • Configure discount schedules and pricing guardrails to enforce company policies.
  • Monitor system usage, performance, and adoption; recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain a view of emerging needs.
  • Translate business goals, pain points, and process gaps into roadmap needs.
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve how CPQ supports the business strategy.
  • Learn continuously about advances in CPQ with an eye toward improvement, enhancements and incorporating AI.
  • Create a product backlog (user stories, features, and bug fixes) that integrates stakeholder feedback.
  • Prioritize enhancements, defects, and technical debt based on business value, risk, urgency, reduction of manual effort, and strategic alignment.
  • Develop detailed business requirements, process flows and user stories.
  • Partner with the Salesforce technology team to clarify requirements and design scalable, maintainable CPQ solutions that align with business needs.
  • Own projects from end-to-end: aligning capabilities to needs, creating business requirements, assisting in development, acceptance criteria and testing.
  • Ultimately accept or reject completed features based on whether they meet requirements and deliver expected value.
  • Ensure CPQ data is accurate, governed, and scalable.
  • Partner with Pricing, Product, and Operations teams to ensure the availability of data to support CPQ solutions.
  • Ensure CPQ processes align with broader systems such as Salesforce CRM, CLM, ERP, order management, billing, and pricing systems.
  • Serve as the L1 first line of support for application users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and help colleagues use the software effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CPQ issues, including rule conflicts and data inconsistencies.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and support end-user training on CPQ functionality.
