About The Position

This role involves specifying the components and their interactions that comprise the end-to-end Integrated Architecture. The Lead Solution Architect will work with portfolio stakeholders, customers, Enterprise Architects, System Engineers, and development teams to align architectural direction and define high-level solutions. A key aspect of this role is collaborating closely with Enterprise Architects and System Engineers to ensure that individual program and product strategies align with business and technical objectives. The position facilitates important design decisions for development teams, determines primary components and subsystems, and analyzes technical trade-offs. It also involves identifying interfaces and collaborations between customers, stakeholders, and development teams to define higher-level functional and Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs). The role focuses on defining a shared technical and architectural vision for the full solution, establishing an incremental implementation strategy and technical foundation for the architectural runway, and ensuring abstraction and generalization to preserve architectural flexibility. Additionally, the Lead Solution Architect will ensure common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable, facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns, and influence common modeling, design, and coding practices. The role also includes implementing Best Practices for the PaaS/IaaS services lifecycle, conducting vulnerability (patching) management, deploying and managing compute resources and PaaS services in OCI, managing IDCS/SSO/SAML implementation, policies, and governance, identifying and analyzing secure configurations, and identifying, recommending, designing, and maintaining technology solutions to support the enterprise's security posture. Troubleshooting routing issues and handling Oracle security notifications are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Physics, Electronics, or Information Systems
• 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation
• Implementing Best Practices for the PaaS/IaaS services lifecycle
• Utilizing networking concepts including the OSI model, TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, and load balancers
• Utilizing Virtual Cloud Networks (VCNs), Subnet Lists, Route Tables, network address assignments, firewalls, and Web Application Firewalls (WAFs)
• Utilizing Public Cloud platforms
• Utilizing Oracle Cloud Technology as for Cloud Infrastructure Operations/Admin
• Utilizing the Linux Operating System
• Administrating PaaS Services like OIC, OAC, OGG, ATP, ADW, and Fusion ERP Services
• Provisioning Oracle OAC, ATP and ADW Autonomous Data Guard
• Monitoring usage of OCI Services, Auto Scaling, and Message packs consumption of Universal Credits
• Configuring Oracle Cloud Services Backups and Object Storage
• Configuring and managing OCI Compartments and Provisioning services across Availability and Fault Domains
• Implementing best practices for the Development Lifecycle for Dev, Test, UAT, and Prod Services
• Provisioning Network Security Groups, ACLs, Bastion Hosts, and Public Load Balancer provisioning

Responsibilities

• Ensure that common technology, design practices, and infrastructure are used when applicable.
• Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns.
• Influence common modeling, design, and coding practices.
• Implement Best Practices for the PaaS/IaaS services lifecycle.
• Conduct vulnerability (patching) management of marketplace images, golden images, and deployments.
• Deploy and Manage Computes (VMs) and PaaS Services in OCI.
• Manage IDCS/SSO/SAML implementation, policies, and governance process.
• Identify, analyze, and maintain secure configurations across our technologies (hybrid cloud).
• Identify, recommend, design, and maintain technology solutions to help support the enterprise's security posture and needs.
• Troubleshoot routing issues.
• Intercept and handle Oracle security notifications and the impact on the OCI environments.
