Optum Bank supports HSA accounts at scale, while modernizing a large, transaction heavy banking ecosystem. You will be apart of standing up new lending capabilities and transforming legacy systems into a more scalable, real time, microservices based platform to support significant growth in accounts and financial products. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 15+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle
  • 10+ years of software development experience with .NET and/or Microsoft stack development tools
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, including native SQL, stored procedures, functions including optimization
  • 5+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar
  • Ability to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed
  • Proven delivery of complex software solutions impacting multiple lines of business

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in financial services or banking industry
  • Experience with Kubernetes, terraform and Microservices infrastructure
  • Experience with Agile development using Scrum or Kanban
  • Full stack development experience
  • Public Cloud experience
  • UnitedHealth Group work experience
