About The Position

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Investment Bank Healthcare Payments team, you will contribute to an agile team building and enhancing secure, stable, scalable technology products. You will deliver critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas in support of business objectives. The role combines hands-on software engineering with technical leadership, including guiding engineers and owning robust solution design. The team supports healthcare payment solutions that connect consumers, providers, and payers.

Requirements

Hands-on experience with a modern object-oriented programming language such as .NET/C#, including designing and building scalable, maintainable, high-performance applications and applying language-specific best practices and design patterns.
Experience writing, optimizing, and debugging complex SQL queries, including multi-table joins, subqueries, and performance tuning, to support data analysis, troubleshooting, and feature development within the payment space.
Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.

Responsibilities

Deliver products and solutions end-to-end, from requirements definition through launch.
Manage and lead a team of multiple engineers, providing technical direction, mentorship, and performance guidance.
Own the design of robust, scalable, and resilient solutions that meet current and anticipated business needs.
Partner with Product to define scope, prioritize features, and shape the roadmap.
Partner with engineers to translate defined features into implemented, production-ready capabilities.
