About The Position

As a Lead Software Engineer at JPMorganChase within the AI/ML Data Platforms (AMDP) Data Governance Engineering team, you will help develop and deliver core data capabilities for the AMDP platform. You will work as part of an agile team to enhance, design, and deliver software components for secure, stable, and scalable technology products. The role includes end-to-end delivery of Java- and Python-based services, batch jobs, and data pipelines, from design and development through testing, deployment, and troubleshooting. You will create design artifacts for complex workflows, analyze data and pipeline execution to identify issues and improvement opportunities, and produce reports, metrics, and visualizations to support business and operational insights. You will also contribute to engineering communities and internal tools, evaluate emerging technologies, and use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools while validating their outputs through reviews, tests, and secure coding practices. You will work independently or with a distributed agile team, coordinating across time zones and applying SDLC tools, Agile methods, and automation to improve delivery.
