About The Position

Hudl is hiring a Lead Engineer for its Business Operations product team to drive technical strategy across multiple teams and build internal tools that support company operations. The role owns complex technical problems at scale, shapes architecture and technical direction, and contributes to the long-term stability and maintainability of the platform. The Lead Engineer partners with engineering leadership, product stakeholders, business stakeholders, Product, Design, and other engineering teams to align technical decisions with business goals and deliver high-quality work. The role also includes mentoring and developing engineers, setting standards for code quality and technical excellence, and fostering a supportive environment. The Lead Engineer will take ownership beyond feature delivery by addressing system health, technical debt, and platform improvements. Applicants are currently prioritized if they live within commuting distance of Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska. Regular in-office collaboration is expected, with more days in the office than remote; the specific schedule is coordinated with the team.
