We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you’ll mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions meet quality, functional, and compliance standards. You’ll also leverage modern frameworks, test automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve development while helping lead Agile delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practical use cases for engineering acceleration.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs.
  • Experience with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker.
  • Experience with EKS, ECS, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with Kafka and MQ
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices, relational databases, and DevOps.
  • Knowledge of SQL

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud-based and on-premises environments.
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, providing oversight to ensure effective task execution and delivery.
  • Analyze business requirements and ensure software solutions meet defined functional and compliance needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to support seamless integration across system components.
  • Maintain software quality and ensure adherence to Broadridge development standards and guidelines.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks that enhance software development and test automation capabilities.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve design, coding, and testing activities.
  • Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
