Requirements

• Worked in a full-stack web development environment.
• Utilized cloud providers such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• A passion for writing maintainable, scalable, well-tested code
• Experience or interest in working with languages such as Python, Java, Scala, Kotlin and Javascript/Typescript
• Built scalable RESTful APIs using frameworks such as Django, Spring Boot or Vert.x.
• Experience with single page applications utilizing frameworks such as React, Angular or Vue.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Mysql or Oracle.
• An interest in working on containerized services with Docker.
• Experience mentoring and leading people at different stages in their career.
• Excelled in cross-functional teams, working fluidly with Product Managers, QA Engineers, Data Scientists, Mobile Engineers, and other highly skilled specialists.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 3-5 software engineers.
• Be a hands-on contributor across a full application stack that operates at scale.
• Lead efforts to bring new technologies and best practices into the organization.
• Utilize cloud-native architectures to deliver resilient, high-availability services.
• Build innovative customer experiences, setting standards for code quality and application performance.
• Mentor and train engineers from junior to principal level on best practices.
• Ship your first code in days working in a fast-paced agile team.
• Tackle technical debt in our existing codebase, refactoring for maintainability.
• Collaborate with product stakeholders to proactively identify technical issues and solutions for new features.
