About The Position

This role involves configuring, customizing, and optimizing Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking) to meet business requirements. The position requires analyzing organizational workflows and translating them into scalable, automated Workday solutions. Key responsibilities include implementing and managing complex business processes, security roles, and integrations within the Workday platform. The role also involves troubleshooting system issues, performing root cause analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for testing and deployment of Workday configuration changes. Additionally, the position will identify opportunities for enhancing Workday features, lead release management activities, design custom reports and dashboards, and work closely with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver product enhancements. Benchmarking Workday solutions against industry best practices and ensuring compliance with internal controls, data privacy, and security policies are also crucial aspects of this role. The role also involves configuring tables, fields, forms, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, workflows, approvals, service portals, widgets, catalog items, user roles, groups, permissions, and integrations with external systems. The ability to configure software solutions without custom coding is also a requirement.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing ServiceNow’s Workflow Editor
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Workday tools, reporting, integrations (EIB, Studio CoreConnectors), and security configuration
  • 3 years of experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex Workday solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, customize and optimize Workday modules (HCM, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking) to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Analyze organizational workflows and translate them into scalable, automated Workday solutions.
  • Implement and manage complex business processes, security roles, and integrations within the Workday platform.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and deliver timely resolutions to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document, test, and deploy Workday configuration changes and releases.
  • Identify and assess opportunities for enhancing existing Workday features and functionalities based on user and business needs.
  • Lead or participate in Workday release management activities, including evaluating new features, conducting impact analysis, and coordinating rollout plans.
  • Design and implement custom reports, dashboards, and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver innovative product enhancements.
  • Benchmark Workday solutions against industry best practices and recommend improvements to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Ensure all Workday configurations and enhancements comply with internal controls, data privacy, and security policies.
  • Configure tables, fields, and forms.
  • Define business rules, UI policies, and client scripts using the platform’s graphical interface.
  • Configure workflows and approvals using delivered, UI-based editor tools: ServiceNow’s Workflow Editor.
  • Design and configure service portals, widgets, and catalog items.
  • Set up user roles, groups, and permissions.
  • Configure integrations with external systems using pre-built connectors and APIs.
  • Configure allowing users to customize software solution behavior and appearance to align with their organization’s processes and workflows without the need for custom coding or development.
  • Utilize Workday tools, reporting, integrations (EIB, Studio CoreConnectors), and security configuration.
  • Design, implement, and troubleshoot complex Workday solutions.
