About The Position
XYZ Reality is a company that provides an engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for the construction industry. Their technology, integrated into a smart, site-safe headset called The Atom, is used to ensure projects are completed within specified timescales and budgets. XYZ has grown to over 100 staff across the UK, US & Europe and collaborates with major organizations and construction companies on significant projects. The Lead Site Engineer is the senior field representative for XYZ Reality on a project, responsible for managing the daily activities of the site team, ensuring adherence to workflows and standards, and serving as the main point of contact between the site team and the client. In addition to leadership duties, the Lead Site Engineer will also perform essential Site Engineer tasks such as progress tracking and quality inspections.
Requirements
- Experience working on large scale construction projects.
- Experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
- Understanding of construction drawings, BIM models, and site workflows.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and client stakeholders.
- Comfortable using digital construction tools and new technologies.
- Basic IT Skills (Microsoft Suite).
- Must have a clean criminal record.
- Willing to undergo background checks and drugs tests due to security requirements of the projects.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of Site Engineers and Graduate Site Engineers on the project.
- Ensure all team members follow company workflows, QA procedures, and data capture standards.
- Drive adoption of the XYZ platform among client teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct progress tracking against BIM models using XYZ’s Augmented Reality Device – The Atom.
- Perform on-site QA inspections and record findings within the XYZ platform.
- Attend and contribute to weekly coordination meetings with the client to review quality issues and progress.
- Monitor quality issues raised by the engineering team and ensure they are reviewed and closed out by the client.
- Provide coaching and support to Site Engineers to maintain high delivery standards.
- Escalate risks, blockers, or performance issues to project management when necessary.
