Seeking those with availability for overnight (11p-7am). This is a part-time position. The Lead Shelter Coordinator will lead the team by example, demonstrating informed decision-making, honesty, transparency, and appropriate rapport building with staff, clients, and community partners. They will maintain positive working relationships with coordinators, case managers, and on-site service providers to ensure continuity of care. Responsibilities include attending team meetings and training, conducting regular team meetings with Coordinators, and maintaining a high level of professionalism in all interactions. The role involves crisis intervention, managing communication with public service programs and donors/volunteers, and maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, the Lead Shelter Coordinator will monitor sanitary conditions, become skilled with the HMIS system, ensure HMIS data quality control, and monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for compliance. They will communicate and coordinate team roles, consult with the Shelter Manager, and communicate with staff from the previous shift during shift change. Reviewing and maintaining accurate documentation, including End of Shift reports, consequence lists, incident reports, and significant client interaction reports, is crucial. The role may require working weekends, additional shifts, and holidays, and performing other duties as assigned aligned with program goals.
