About The Position

The Service Technician II provides maintenance, service, and repair for commercial HVAC, refrigeration, ice machines, reach-in and walk-in coolers, freezers, etc. This role involves diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC & refrigeration systems. The technician will communicate status updates for part orders and repairs with branch support and the customer, complete service calls accurately and timely, and audit truck stock to ensure required parts are stocked. Additionally, the technician ensures the service vehicle, tools, and uniforms meet Whaley's safety standards and meets on-call requirements.

Requirements

Three years of experience in commercial HVAC and or refrigeration.
Must be 18 years of age.
Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
Valid Driver's license and driving record that aligns with our safety standard.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to accurately diagnose and troubleshoot.
Good driving record

Nice To Haves

An automotive, electrical, installation, and mechanical background is a plus.
Journeyman License and or CFESA certification not required but would be a plus.
