About The Position

The primary function of the Lead Service Sales Engineer is to sell Eaton’s Engineering Services project offering to customers in the western region. The customer base includes industrial, utility, data center, commercial, institutional and government related facilities. Mission critical customers, including federal, state and local governments, as well as companies in the data center, industrial and utility spaces. In this role, you will develop and own direct opportunities and partner with vertical sales teams to lead the quote-to-cash process for these long term, high dollar multi-year, opportunities. You will be the regional expert on the Eaton’s product offering (including mission critical applications, modular solutions, and at times equipment only sales), leading opportunity vetting, site walks, scope alignment and customer meetings, while partnering with our internal and external support teams to deliver high quality and timely quotes to the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum Five (5) years of electrical sales, field service or electrical industry experience
  • Possess and maintain a valid & unrestricted driver’s license
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Responsibilities

  • Discover yourself and work with vertical sales teams to discover and develop turnkey project service opportunities
  • Lead quote-to-cash process for turnkey project opportunities, including opportunity vetting, site walk, scope alignment, proposal delivery and opportunity closure
  • Be a subject matter expert on Eaton’s product and service offerings, specifically turnkey project services, and train other team members on the offering
  • Develop customer relationships within key customers’ organizations
  • Work with Eaton’s internal support teams to develop customer solutions
  • Act as the voice of the customer to Eaton’s product lines, ensuring high customer service and satisfaction
  • Prepare and present quotations to customers
