About The Position

Namaste Solar is seeking a licensed journeyworker electrician to join their Commercial Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing solar PV systems across Colorado, focusing on commercial and utility-scale installations. The position offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within a skilled team, ensuring optimal system performance. Requirements

  • Colorado State Journeyworker Electrician License.
  • Strong safety mindset (OSHA, NFPA 70E familiarity).
  • Ability to travel statewide and work in various outdoor conditions.
  • Comfortable working at heights and on pitched roofs.
  • Proficiency with laptops, cell phones, and work-tracking applications.
  • Effective, professional communication.
  • Active driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in solar PV systems (troubleshooting, monitoring).
  • Mentorship or leadership experience with apprentices.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and SiteCapture.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and one-line diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform licensed electrical service work on commercial and utility-scale solar PV installations across Colorado.
  • Manage and support an apprentice electrician crew mate.
  • Troubleshoot and repair solar PV systems efficiently and safely.
  • Provide feedback to O&M team members to help improve processes and team dynamics.
  • Educate apprentices and other team members on proper and safe execution of electrical service work.
  • Interface with customers via email and phone regarding scheduling and work-scope follow-up.
  • Installation and repair of Data Acquisition Systems (monitoring) for commercial projects.
  • Initiate and facilitate equipment warranty claims and vendor RMA processes.
  • Track and report on work orders in Salesforce and SiteCapture on cellular devices and computers.
