About The Position

As a Lead Server and Key Holder at Denny's, you will be responsible for providing attentive service to guests throughout their visit, accurately taking and relaying orders, and delivering food and beverages promptly. You will utilize upselling skills to recommend specials and popular menu items, offer confident menu recommendations, and encourage guests to join the Denny's Rewards Program. Additionally, you will maintain a clean and organized dining room, process payments efficiently, and collaborate with Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) team members to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

• Experience as a Server, Waiter, Waitress, FOH Staff, or in customer service preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence in upselling, menu recommendations, and guest engagement
• Basic math and cash-handling skills
• Must be 18+
• Flexible availability — nights, weekends, holidays
