About The Position

Exadel is seeking a Lead/Senior Automation QA Engineer to join their team. This role involves owning the quality strategy for the FLE project, designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution, and building/maintaining automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript. The engineer will also maintain multiple automation frameworks, perform API testing, validate test data using SQL, design and execute regression testing strategies, lead Root Cause Analysis for defect trends, standardize QA processes, provide technical leadership to junior and mid-level QA engineers, design and implement AI agents for QA workflow improvement, participate in Agile ceremonies, and communicate testing progress and risks to stakeholders.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Senior Automation QA Engineer or AQA Lead
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript
Solid experience with API testing and SQL
Experience working with multiple automation frameworks
Experience designing and executing regression testing strategies
Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance
Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted QA tools and AI agents
Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills
Experience working in Agile teams and providing QA estimations
English level: Intermediate+

Experience with Root Cause Analysis and defect trend analysis
Experience standardizing QA practices across multiple teams or projects

Responsibilities

Own the quality strategy for the FLE project across multiple products
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution
Build and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript
Maintain and work across multiple automation frameworks
Perform API testing and validate test data using SQL
Design and execute regression testing strategies ahead of releases
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for significant defect trends and bug volumes
Standardize QA processes and practices across projects
Provide technical leadership and support to Junior and Mid-level QA engineers
Design and implement AI agents and AI-based solutions to improve QA workflows
Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide QA estimates for upcoming work
Communicate testing progress, risks, and technical topics to engineering and business stakeholders
