About The Position

As the Enterprise Security Operations Program Manager, West within the Enterprise Security Operations (ESO) team, you will lead high-stakes, cross-functional initiatives designed to protect our global infrastructure. At this level, you are expected to operate with significant autonomy, bridging the gap between technical security engineering and executive-level strategic goals. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of security programs—from incident response enhancements to the deployment of cutting-edge threat detection frameworks—ensuring Palo Alto’s enterprise remains resilient against an evolving threat landscape.

Requirements

  • Experience managing enterprise security operations or related corporate security programs in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of Workplace Violence Prevention, including California SB 553 requirements and supporting program administration.
  • Experience supporting or leading ISO 27001/27002 and TISAX certification efforts.
  • Proven ability to multi-task, manage competing priorities, and drive execution across multiple companies, stakeholders, and locations.
  • Strong judgment, discretion, Integrity and professionalism.
  • Positive attitude and attention to detail.
  • Virtual incident management experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate security and compliance requirements into actionable programs.
  • Ability to work effectively in person with teams and partners in Palo Alto and support broader enterprise needs.
  • Experience with Technical Security systems such as access control, intruder detection, CCTV, and other innovative security solutions.
  • Proficiency in Google Platforms including Gemini, Agents and bots.
  • A service-oriented personality, self-motivated, confident, energetic, and flexible.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for security operations, risks, and vulnerabilities. Continuously evaluate solutions to ensure they solve the changing business needs.
  • Contributes to the development of policies and procedures that further the existing and future Security program.
  • Support development and delivery of security awareness activities; this includes awareness enterprise-wide.
  • Drive strategies to ensure compliance with all regulations at facilities, including Workplace Violence requirements, and any other applicable standards.
  • Conducts Security vulnerability assessments and audits.
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure site security infrastructure supports operational needs.
  • Support operational response to locations virtually.
  • Support the development, implementation, administration, policies, programs, procedures, and protocols for all security initiatives related to non-manufacturing sites.
  • Manage Guard Services and budget management for each site.
  • Coordinating with the EP team for local events, high-profile board meetings, or executive travel for west coast locations.
