About The Position
Securitas is seeking PT Lead Security Officers for weekend positions in Vineland, NJ. This role involves providing lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts, observing and reporting activities and incidents to ensure the security and safety of client property and personnel. The Lead Officer preserves order and may enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. The position requires supporting and providing Security Officers with clear guidance and leadership to maintain the security and safety of the client site. This role is an exciting introduction to a career in the security industry or a next step for those with existing security experience.
Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in a supervisor / lead security role
- Valid SORA license (or willingness to obtain)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Weekend availability required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay focused and alert in dynamic, high-energy environments
- Strong sense of integrity, dependability, and teamwork
- Reliable transportation
- Able to stand for long periods of time
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor and control access to the facility, ensuring only authorized personnel enter.
- Verify identification and issue visitor badges in accordance with company procedures.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and manage front desk inquiries.
- Maintain a daily log of visitors, deliveries, and security incidents.
- Respond to security alarms and incidents, reporting them promptly to management.
- Conduct routine patrols of the premises as required.
- Support emergency response procedures, including evacuations and first aid as trained.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Provide lead direction to Security Officers at assigned client sites on assigned shifts.
