About The Position

Forklift Operator- Vineland NJ This is an hourly level position. Position Summary: The individual holding this position is responsible for operating and using industrial, powered, standup and sit-down forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse and place product in designated areas.

Requirements

  • Must have mechanical abilities.
  • Knowledge of GMP’s.
  • Basic computer skills, Word and Excel.
  • Commitment to ADM’s goal of achieving a zero injury culture; understand and follow company safety procedures
  • Exhibit regular and timely attendance
  • Willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
  • Demonstrate initiative to work independently while flexible enough to work in team setting when needed
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and supportive attitude
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly
  • Ability to pay attention to and focus on small details. i.e., lot numbers, order numbers, etc.
  • Flexibility in accepting change and an attitude of continuous improvement
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Standing, Walking and Lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote the safe work environment policies.
  • Retrieve and transport product to assigned slots.
  • Report any issues to the warehouse lead.
  • Follow FIFO pick order.
  • Identify product to be selected, sorted and placed.
  • Follow aisle specifications for product sorting and placement.
  • Work closely with Supervisors and other employees to complete assigned tasks.
  • Comply effectively with company work and safety rules.
  • Continually meet assigned production standards.
  • Maintain a quality of work that limits miss-picks, shorts and damages.
  • Follow directions.
  • Follow SOP, GMP’s, HACCP, and Allergens guidelines.
  • Work independently and in a team environment.
  • Work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38F to 80F; employees assigned to the freezer must be able to work in temperatures as cold as -10F
