About The Position

Acts is currently seeking qualified candidates for our Lead Security Guard position. In this role, you will assist the Security Supervisor in providing departmental leadership to ensure the security and safety of the community through adequate supervision and carefully monitoring all security functions. In the absence of the Security Supervisor, the Lead Security Guard coordinates and supervises the department under the supervision of the Executive Director. Provides support during the evening and night hours for residents and team members.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years' security, law enforcement, or emergency services experience
Must be eligible to obtain a Security Guard Certification, if employed in the state of Maryland (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
CPR, AED, & first aid certification (or obtain within the 3-month introductory period)
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

Assist the Security Supervisor in providing departmental leadership to ensure the security and safety of the community through adequate supervision and carefully monitoring all security functions.
