About The Position

This is an existing Salesforce instance that has been in development for several years. The user base consists of internal bankers, and the customer base is extensive, with millions of records. The role involves leading an 8-member scrum team in NY, which is part of a larger structure of 3 scrum teams comprising 24 members across JC, Plano, and Hyderabad. The individual will focus on the Business Banking Salesforce instance, as there are separate instances for other business areas like wealth and home lending. This is a lead role with a 30% leadership and 70% coding split.

Requirements

  • Proficient in Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Proficient in out-of-the-box Salesforce configurations
  • Experience with triggers
  • Experience with REST API calls from Salesforce
  • SOQL expertise
  • Experience working on large volumes of data
  • Ability to optimize code for large data volumes

Responsibilities

  • Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
  • Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others
  • Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
  • Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
  • Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
