This role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to translate requirements into robust architectural designs and ensure the long‑term stability of the Salesforce ecosystem. The Lead Salesforce Developer/Architect will lead the end‑to‑end technical design of Salesforce solutions across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions (PSS), LPI data model and custom applications. They will develop and maintain architectural standards, integration patterns, and best practices for Salesforce and related systems. This role involves developing, customizing, and enhancing Salesforce applications using Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and Omnistudio Components (Flexcards, Omniscripts, DataRaptors, Integrations Procedures). The architect will translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and enterprise architecture. They will provide technical guidance to development teams, review code, and ensure adherence to design principles and security standards. Additionally, they will oversee integration between Salesforce and external systems using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines, conduct impact assessments for new features, enhancements, and platform updates, and ensure optimized system performance, data integrity, security controls, and compliance (including role hierarchy, sharing rules, and data governance). Support for deployment strategies, CI/CD processes, and environment management is also a key responsibility. The role requires serving as a subject matter expert during requirement workshops, design reviews, and solution validation, and staying current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices.
