About The Position

Work as a talented culinary expert to compose and prepare meals from scratch. You will be responsible for hot and cold food production in a high-volume kitchen. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years food service, hospitality, or customer service experience
  • SERV Safe Certification required within three (3) months of obtaining position

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's Degree in Culinary, Hospitality, or Nutrition
  • 6 months leadership experience

Responsibilities

  • Follow all UW Health guidelines and policies regarding food safety and sanitation.
  • Train and orient new staff members.
  • Act as an effective leader for the Culinary Services Department and the organization.
  • Prepare large volumes of food with a high level of complexity, variety, and quality.
  • Assess quality and condition of ingredients used in food production and prepare food production reports and documentation.
